  • January 18 2012 Promoters: Please Read New Guide Document (RE: Permits/Flyers)

    A new document called Guide: Permit Coordinator's Expectations of Promoters has been posted to the NCNCA website under the 'PROMOTERS' heading. If you are a promoter, or are responsible for working with permits or flyers for races, it is critical that you read it. Knowing what the Permit Coordinator expects in order to approve permits & flyers will dramatically reduce the amount of time it takes to get from submission to approval. To read it now, click here.

  • November 12 2011 CYCLOCROSS TAKES OVER NCNCA RACING DURING WINTER MONTHS- DISTRICT/USA CYCLING STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS DECEMBER 4th AT TORO PARK!

    Cyclocross racing is super popular in the NCNCA. Races like the Bay Area Super Prestige, The Central Coast Series, The Sacramento Series, The Surf City Series, The Santa Rosa Cup, and the The Homegrown Series in Fresno, fill up the Cross calendar and pave the way for regional riders success at the USA Cycling National Cyclocross Championships in January. Nor-Cal Elite racers, Masters racers, and Junior racers always taste success at Nationals in many age groups and divisions. The 2011 NCNCA District Cyclocross Championships will be held at Toro Park in Salinas on December 4th. Cyclocross is one of the best ways to improve your cycling in general. It helps with a riders fitness, bike handing, power output, and turning ability, plus so much more! If you want to have fun over the winter on your bike, Race Cyclocross!

  • September 29 2011 CENTRAL COAST CIRCUIT RACE THIS SATURDAY IN MONTEREY, THE FINAL EVENT OF THE 2011 NCNCA ROAD RACE SEASON.

    The CCCX Circuit race in Monterey this Saturday puts an end to the amazing 2011 Road Cycling season for the NCNCA. 2011 was a banner year on the Road with NCNCA racers claiming National & World Championship honors, showing what amazing individual cycling talent the NCNCA region holds. Teams, coaches, and fellow cyclists create the perfect environment for Road Racing success in this region and the NCNCA is proud of all the racers who competed regionally and abroad during the 2011 Road season. The CCCX Circuit race is also the final event of the NCNCA Points Series. After this weekend, Cyclcross racing is king for the next four months in the NCNCA.

  • August 10 2011 NCNCA/USA CYCLING MASTERS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR ROAD RACE AND CRITERIUM TAKE CENTER STAGE IN MONTEREY & CLOVIS DURING NEXT TWO WEEKENDS.

    The NCNCA region holds some of the most outstanding Masters age Road cyclists in all of America. The competition each weekend in the super talented Masters divisions is off the charts for action and drama! The next two weekends the NCNCA/USA Cycling Masters California State Championship Road Race and Criterium events will headline all NCNCA Road Racing! The beautiful roads of Monterey will be the host to the Masters Road Race Championship on Sunday, August 14. The challenging Central Coast Circuit course is guaranteed to deliver deserving winners in all categories on the day! There are age groups starting at 30-34 and progressing up to 60+ for the Women and 70+ for the Men. Then on Sunday, August 21, the friendly city of Clovis will host the Masters Criterium Championship. Momentum Racing has put together a fantastic course in the city of Clovis, and the event is sure to be top notch fun for all!   • July 26 2011 Big Weekend Of Road Events For The NCNCA To Close Out July! Central Coast Circuit Race, Foothill College Circuit Race, Mt. Diablo Hill Climb, And The Mighty Tour de Nez On Tap.....

    Kicking the weekend off this Saturday is the epic and challenging Mt. Diablo Hill Climb near Walnut Creek, and the popular Central Coast Circuit Race held near the cycling paradise of Monterey. Then Sunday in Reno, Nevada is the Mighty Tour de Nez- a true celebration of cycling. Also on Sunday in Los Altos is the super cool Foothill College Circuit Race, presented by Los Gatos Cycling Club and Team Tibco II. Each event this weekend is a true classic, and is sure to be an incredibly enjoyable opportunity to race your Road Bikes! Summer is now, so get out there and compete! Most of all keep it fun!
