SUMMARY:Henleyville Road Race
DESCRIPTION:Course: This is the same flat 18-mile loop course as 1999\, 2007-2023 with the same new uphill (off-loop) finish area as last eight years. Starting at Registration site\, it heads west on Simpson\, north on Paskenta Road\, then east on Gyle Road\, south on Rawson\, and then west on Simpson back through the start area. Finish is on Freeman Schoolhouse Road just south of Simpson\, a short uphill finish. Pavement is mostly good\, with some potholes on Simpson. Two hills: one on Paskenta (the feed hill) and the finish hill. Please riders\, use the facilities and stay off of private property!! No gas\, services or phones available in Henleyville. All services are available in Corning.

DESCRIPTION:An Event of the 2024 California Cup \nVolunteers are needed!! Email or call Velo Promo. \nCourse: A 24 mile loop open road race course\, the same as since 2009-2019). Start is a promenade out of Winters ½\nmile onto the loop. Loop: South on Winters Road\, west on Allendale\, south on Timm\, west on Cantelow\, north on\nPleasants Valley\, east on Putah Creek Road\, and then south again on Winters Road.. There is a 1000’ gravel stretch\nafter the Feed Zone uphill on Cantelow. The last ½ mile of Cantelow is a steep twisty decent; use caution!! There is\nongoing PG&E construction on Pleasants Valley\, including steel plates and potholes. All of the roads are narrow; if\nyou can’t stay to the right of the centerline\, stay home. The finish line is the same as 2014-2019\, on Putah Creek just\npast the canal\, west of the old (2013 and prior) finish
