DESCRIPTION:Clipped In for Life and Sacramento Cyclocross are pleased to host the 2023 Northern California Nevada Cycling Association Cyclocross District Championship at Sunset Whitney Recreation Area in Rocklin! \nThis is the USA Cycling state championship for athletes living in Northern California and Nevada! It’s an opportunity to feed your competitive side\, earn USA Cycling Points\, and enjoy a second day of ‘cross at Sunset Whitney. With championship and non-championship categories\, everyone can join the fun! \nMore Information: https://www.clippedinforlife.org/our-races/sacramento-cyclocross/district-champs/ \nRace Information:\n– District championship medals awarded to top three finishers in every division.\n– All Championship category winners are eligible to purchase state champion jerseys.\n– Price listed is the online pre-registration price. Pre-registration closes Thursday\, November 2nd at 6:00 pm\n– Add $10 for on-site registration.\n– Parents must fill out waiver for each child taking part in the Kids Race. Kids Race is free.\n– All racers must sign-in at registration and fill out USA Cycling standard release form.\n– Registration opens at 8 am\, and closes for each division 10 minutes before start. \nA USAC license is required to race this event. Juniors\, men racing in a USAC Cat that includes a level 5 license\, and\nwomen racing in a USAC Cat that includes a level 4 license may purchase a one day license on site. DESCRIPTION:2024 Winchester Circuit Race Promotional Video \n \nThe 8th Annual Winchester Circuit Race will be Saturday May 11th\, sponsored by our team\, Body Concepts.  For the first time\, this race will be part of the NCNCA Premier Series (worth double BAR and BAT points) as well as the NCNCA Women’s Series.\n\nIf your haven’t participated in the past\, this is a race definitely worth checking out.  It’s situated in the beautiful Winchester Country Club community of Meadow Vista just a few miles east of Auburn.  The circuit is approximately 4.5 miles with rolling hills (and power climbs) lending itself to both sprinters and climbers having a great chance to win.  Races range from 4 to 6 laps so the duration of each race is typically about an hour  The pavement is near perfect making for a fast but very safe race.  There is the option to do a second race for only $25 and lunch is available onsite to purchase.\n\nhttps://bcbicycleracing.com/body-concepts-bicycle-race-team-events/\n\n\n\nJunior\, Parents\, Coaches and Teams please note\, NorCal NICA East Bay and Central regions have a race scheduled on this day.

If your name does not appear on this page\, please bring a printed copy: https://hellyervelodrome.com/rider-info/waivers*** \nRain\, wet track\, or unhealthy air quality cancels. Refunds will be issued if canceled. \nPlease direct any questions to Gabby (gszacks@gmail.com) and Brittany (brittanywaxman@gmail.com). \nClinic: \nLearn the basics of track riding in a fun\, safe\, structured session. The session is run by a supervisor. The session is not a training session or a racing session. A minimal amount of fitness is necessary to complete some of the drills. \nWho: beginner & intermediate WTFNB (women\, trans\, femme\, non-binary) riders. Riders age 13 and up are welcome\, minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Maximum 30 riders. \nWhat: instruction on safety\, fixed gear riding\, track riding etiquette\, velodrome drills and training\, and lots of practice. All riders must follow structured session – no individual workouts. \nBring: helmet\, cycling shoes\, pedals\, cycling clothing (layers!)\, snacks\, lunch for between sessions\, water bottle\, allen wrenches\, sunscreen. If you have a track bike bring it\, otherwise rental bikes are available. \nExhibition Time Trial: \nAt the end of the session\, clinic participants who wish to race a time trial (individual or team) may do so. \nGear Swap: \nParticipants and volunteers are encouraged to bring their used cycling gear to trade/give away to other participants.
