DESCRIPTION:History\n\nThe first CCCX was held at Ford Ord in 1998.  Since then\, CCCX has produced MTB\, CX\, Road and Enduro races every year (excluding COVID).  CCCX has become a staple of Monterey County cycling. \n3CX MTB Race Series\n\nThe CCCX MTB Race Series is a series of 4 races.  Riders can race each venue as a standalone event or race the entire series. \nSeries scoring will be based on the best 3 race results for each rider in the series.  Points will be based on finish position.  Riders participating in the series cannot change categories after the first race in the series. \nCHANGE: THERE IS NO ONSITE REGISTRATION FOR THE CCCX 2024 MTB RACE SERIES\, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE THE DEADLINE.  THIS IS DUE TO RFID TIMING. \nFort Ord Venue – Fort Ord Day Camp\n\nFort Ord is legendary for its ultra-fast trails.  This is where you will lay down some serious speed without running into a lot of technical features.  Average speeds can exceed 18 MPH for top finishers depending on the course.  On that note – Fort Ord features nearly limitless course variation. The CCCX Race Series will take advantage of trails and features that are not often used to give riders a unique experience.  We don’t mind putting the extra work into course design! \nPlease park inside venue and not on the street.

DESCRIPTION:History\n\nThe first CCCX was held at Ford Ord in 1998.  Since then\, CCCX has produced MTB\, CX\, Road and Enduro races every year (excluding COVID).  CCCX has become a staple of Monterey County cycling. \n3CX MTB Race Series\n\nThe CCCX MTB Race Series is a series of 4 races.  Riders can race each venue as a standalone event or race the entire series. \nSeries scoring will be based on the best 3 race results for each rider in the series.  Points will be based on finish position.  Riders participating in the series cannot change categories after the first race in the series. \nCHANGE: THERE IS NO ONSITE REGISTRATION FOR THE CCCX 2024 MTB RACE SERIES\, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER ONLINE BEFORE THE DEADLINE.  THIS IS DUE TO RFID TIMING. \nFort Ord Venue – Fort Ord Day Camp\n\nFort Ord is legendary for its ultra-fast trails.  This is where you will lay down some serious speed without running into a lot of technical features.  Average speeds can exceed 18 MPH for top finishers depending on the course.  On that note – Fort Ord features nearly limitless course variation. The CCCX Race Series will take advantage of trails and features that are not often used to give riders a unique experience.  We don’t mind putting the extra work into course design! \nPlease park inside venue and not on the street.
