How to enter:
Weekly races will be found on the Zwift Event Calendar. This can either be accessed through the Zwift Companion App or through Zwift.com.
To be eligible for the NCNCA race series, riders must register on the NCNCA entry form. This will allow riders to be eligible for weekly and monthly primes. In addition, all riders participating in the race series will be entered into a monthly random prize drawing.
All racers must have a ZwiftPower account. Details for connecting your Zwift account with ZwiftPower can be found here: Connecting to ZwiftPower.com. In ZwiftPower, all riders must add [NCNCA] to their rider name. This does not need to be done in the Zwift game.
Race Details:
The weekly race series will alternate between a longer circuit race one week and two shorter back-to-back races in the second week. For the back-to-back race weeks, the first race will be a points based race with prime points earned at each sprint banner. The winner of the race will be the rider with the highest points total at the end of the race. The second race will be a typical scratch race where the winner is the first rider across the finish line.
Points race scoring:
Intermediate Sprints: 5 3 2 1 points
Final Sprint: 10 6 4 2 points
Ties and remaining order determined by placing in the final sprint
Finishers for each race will earn series points that will be compiled towards a monthly omnium series. Every race will score omnium points and the rider with the most points at the end of the month will be declared the winner.
Weekly event points towards omnium:
Long scratch race – 15 12 10 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 remaining finishers will get 1 point Short Scratch race – 10 7 5 3 2 remaining finishers will get 1 point
