Officiating 101: Entering the World of Bike Race Officiating
Are you interested to know what the people in the blue shirts are doing at bike races? Is your junior aging out but you want to stay connected to the race scene? Have you decided to step away from active racing but want to stay connected to the bike race world? Consider becoming a USA Cycling Official.
A new class is starting soon. The three session zoom class offers an introduction to bike race officiating leading to a USA Cycling officiating license. An additional session at an actual race allows participants to gain the basic knowledge and skills to work at races in the NCNCA District. Mentoring and support will be provided as you enter the officiating ranks.

1 IRL Session Sunday, May 16 at Early Birds (optional based on personal comfort attending an outdoor gathering; COVID protocols will be followed.
10:10:55 orientation to scoring
10:55-11:55 practice score P/1/2/3 race
11:55-12:55 review and process scoring
1:15 optional- score subsequent races
