Warning! USAC’s license database has many inconsistencies in it. I’m trying to work around problems like missing associations as I discover them, but unfortunately I don’t have a good way to cross check results except by hand. I’ve done some spot checking, and will continue to review the data as the season unfolds, but I’d really appreciate it if you email me at results@ncnca.org with any issues you discover. Please review the raw scoring data which is the source of truth for all points breakdowns.
2022-10-02:
I have re-downloaded all of the results from USAC’s database. University Road Race, San Ardo, Suisun, and San Rafael all had changes to the result data.
Several people also reached out to me with corrections regarding team data, license data, or inconsistencies between their USAC profile and the license information in BAR/BAT. I’ve corrected all of these.
These changes were somewhat significant from a points perspective, but didn’t change the BAT outcomes in a significant way.
Please take a look again and let me know if anything looks off. You have until October 14th. The easiest way to look at your point data is at https://ncnca.org/files/points/2022/bar_bat/scoring.csv.
2022-09-25:
With Henleyville cancelled, BAR/BATS for 2022 has concluded. I still need to re-process all the results to ensure I pick up any late changes that were made to the results. Results won’t be final until October 15th, per the rules. Please double check to make sure your results are correct. You have until the 15th of October to let me know so I can correct it.
After October 15th, the results are final.

Sand City has once again been refreshed and fixed. I’ve also triple checked the result categorization, but it’s always possible I missed something, so please verify your results are as you expect.

It looks like the Sand City refresh is missing some of the championship breakdown. I’ll need to update the Sand City results one more time. I should have that done by tomorrow.

Due to an update from USAC officials, the results for Sand City have been re-processed, which has changed some of the results. You may want to recheck your standings.

Results for Sand City have been posted. The results weren’t fully broken out by age group, so I had to make some manual adjustments. Please let me know if you notice anything that looks incorrect.

I’ve changed the way the placing is displayed when ties are involved. Previously, if there was a two way tie for first place, the third racer would have been given 2nd place. Now it will show as third, since there are two racers ahead of them. Your placing will now always reflect how many people had higher points than you, irrespective of ties. This doesn’t affect the ordering of racers, only the number displayed next to their name.

I’ve discovered an issue with the series calculations where riders that weren’t eligible for BAR points but were racing in a BAR eligible field were not contributing BAT points for Overall BAT and BAT by Event. This issue has been resolved, which has increased the number of BAT points for several teams and has caused the rankings to shift somewhat.
BAT points for Cull Canyon Time Trial are also now included.

BAR points will be awarded for top categories, BAT will be awarded for lower categories. BAT points will be posted soon.

Note that as teams renew their NCNCA membership, and other data inconsistencies are identified and addressed, the ranking may shift quite a bit. Please double check your individual results to ensure the points are accurate.
